This is our local regular "primitive" course. Within a day or so of a good rain shower, Coachman is unplayable. But it is the simplest and most challenging course in the area. Many holes are along a creek, so there is ample opportunity for OBs (out-of-bounds), but discs are usually recoverable. Right-handers can err on the wooded side because the water's always on the right. There are quite a few pro/am tees, and several narrow fairways.
Official Park Information
Coachman Creek has no facilities, except for a port-o-let, but it is also primarily a disk golf course, not a "shared use" park like Cliff Stephens or Taylor Lake Park in Largo. Good shade cover, better course to play on a windy day, and it's best to have bug spray near dusk. I'd be hard-pressed to say this is any better or worse than Cliff.
