"Why the site, wise guy?"

Purpose: None really, altruistic I suppose... to spontaneously bring some light, knowledge or stimulation into someone's awareness. I'm not hawking anything, really. Not at the moment.

Enough about me: To the best of my understanding, I'm a political convervative and a social liberal. I'm not a Democrat, really, but I'm not a Republican certainly. I'm an Indipublicrat. And I like to bend the language. I may express some opinions but I have no axe to grind. No, this site is meant to be just good clean fun.

Highlights:
  • Jack Web - A matrix of good "standard" links are set up, for my convenience as well as yours, on the Jack Web page. Get it? Not that I look at all or any of 'em much of the time, but many I found interesting or noteworthy and needed a good central place to put 'em. Bookmarking this page keeps my "Favorites" folder less cluttered. Google's on there, and the imdb (internet movie database).
  • Health - Again, because I can't keep all those vital facts in my head, I keep a myriad of health tips and hints I've encounted from various sources, primarily Real Age, on my Health page(s).
  • I enjoy Disk Golf (Huh?), and Beer (Funny!), but who doesn't? I like Poker (Poker) and Travel (Travel) in North America. I was a musician (Bands) and songwriter (for many years in the Tampa Bay area, but am too lazy or distracted to pursue it right now. That could change, I'm sure you're all a-tingle. I did luck into some beautiful songs. Several times a year I might take them out and play with them, shining them up.
  • Philosophy - I don't have much time for deep thoughts, but they do crop up now and then. I've got a compilations of wise sayings (and beautiful sunsets or mountains) there.

  • The menu on the left will change from page to page. You might only see a link to something one time. There are pictures of my family and friends, but why would you care? Other than that it's all topical and stimulating, at least. You never know what path you'll go down if you take the time to browse. I wish you, as always, the best.
